Veri5 API

Veri5 API Overview

The Veri5 API provides services for verifying important identification documents in India, including Aadhaar, PAN, and GSTIN. It offers endpoints for sending OTPs and verifying Aadhaar, as well as validating PAN and GSTIN. Below is an overview of the key endpoints related to Aadhaar, PAN, and GSTIN verification.

1. Aadhaar OTP

This endpoint allows you to send a One-Time Password (OTP) to the Aadhaar-registered mobile number. It is the first step in Aadhaar verification and must be completed before proceeding with the actual verification process.

Note:

  • Ensure that the Aadhaar number is correctly formatted and belongs to the user initiating the request.
  • The OTP is valid for a limited time and should be used in the Aadhaar verification request.

2. Verify Aadhaar

This endpoint verifies an Aadhaar number by validating the OTP sent to the registered mobile number. Successful verification confirms the identity of the user.

Note:

  • Ensure the OTP is valid and has not expired.
  • Make sure the correct Aadhaar number is submitted along with the OTP for verification.

3. Verify PAN

This endpoint validates a Permanent Account Number (PAN) by checking its authenticity in the PAN database.

Note:

  • Ensure the PAN number is properly formatted.
  • Use this service to verify the PAN for financial transactions or identity verification.

4. Verify GSTIN

This endpoint validates the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) of a business by checking its registration details in the GSTIN database.

Note:

  • Ensure the GSTIN is correctly entered for the business.
  • This verification is important for tax and business compliance purposes.

Important:

  • The Veri5 API usage is IP restricted; you must whitelist your IP and get your account Access Key before starting to use the Veri5 API.
  • You must have sufficient account balance to use this API.
